From the moment you walk into this gorgeous, 2 story, luxury 3 bed (+ game room), 2 1/2 bath, brick home the old world charm and new world amenities (built 2003) will surround you.  Whether it be due to the warmth of the fireplace in the great room, or the bright, airiness of the home in general,  you will feel like you are in your second home;  The perfect warm, luxurious atmosphere from which to discover Lake Hartwell while recharging your batteries.

Just about 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta airport,  Harmony's location is ideal.  Nestled in the scenic foothills of south Carolina, our home sits on one of the main expanses of Lake Hartwell, and is minutes from downtown Anderson where you will find an abundance of Restaurants and Activities for your entire family to enjoy.  

We have even gone to the effort to purchase a Community Pool membership to "Stone Creek Cove Swimming Pool" located a short walk down Providence Church Rd.  This allows our guests to use the Tennis Courts and Swimming pool.

Harmony's "Dock on the cove" is a covered,  extra wide dock built with composite decking and lake entry ladder.  Please note, we use the covered "slip" for our personal boat, but there is Full dockage on one side and limited dockage on the other side (where the waver runner ramps are).   

In mid August we added  two wave runner ramps to support drive up wave runner docking (use at your own risk).   

In case you wondering, we are located in the cove directly behind the island located at buoy SC-A6.  We are in a deep water cove with a sail boat moored right at the mouth of the cove.

Harmony's open Porch provides a feeling oneness with nature, while allowing easy access to all of the home's comforts.  This room can be closed up with its storm panels for those cooler fall and winter nights.  Lake views are readily available from many of Harmony's rooms and the porch is clearly no different.  One of the things that drew us to this magical home was listening to the sounds of nature in the surrounding woods, as we sat and gazed at the sun reflecting off the lake.  

This room has a N-Game Cube, DVD Player and VCR.  This is a Second "Movie/Play room" for the kids.  There are Decks on both side of the porch, so you can sit and enjoy a wonderful, sunny SC day after playing on the lake.

All of Lake Hartwell is administered by the Army Corp of engineers and they maintain what is called a "Corp Line" which means that they approve all development of the land from the waterfront to a certain distance toward the house.  This ensures that our home and all our neighbors cannot ruin the shore line by taking all the trees out or building additional permanent structures right at the edge of the water.   Unlike so many lake communities that have homes of all shapes and sizes clearly visible, Lake Hartwell has tree lined shores with the home secluded behind the trees.

We believe our home sets the standard in comfort and convenience for enjoying Lake Hartwell and the surrounding Anderson community.  Harmony is 18 miles from the GA Boarder and Anderson is one of the nicest areas we have encountered in all of our travels.  

Our home boasts a wonderful breakfast nook with a splendid view and plenty of sun.  Lake views abound in many of the homes rooms on both the first and second floors.   

Next to the porch, and adjacent to the kitchen, we have provided a competition Air Hockey table for your families enjoyment.  Please always show caution when playing air hockey as the Disc can leave the table and become a projectile.  Adult supervision is required for this really cool activity.

The Full Featured, "Cook's" kitchen has everything you will need to entertain in style.  Premium  appliances include a Microwave, Dishwasher, Oven/Cook top and Refrigerator w/ice maker maker.  The extensive array of kitchenware and spacious layout of the kitchen make staying home and cooking a snap.

The breakfast bar offers comfortable kitchen side dining in a bright, open sitting area.   And of course high end features like granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and wood cabinets are standard.

Our "Great" room provides a 60" home theater system, Massage chair (not shown), Surround Sound,  DVD Player (with DVD's),  Cable (100+ channels) and gas fireplace.  This room is an excellent place to relax and unwind after a full day of recreation.

Billiards room - We have converted our 4th bedroom into a play room.  It has a brand new, 8ft billiards table with all the trimmings,  electronic darts and seating for 4 on bar stools around the table.  This room has a locked door so that you can keep the room secured when adults are not present in the room.   NO DRINKS near the pool table please.

Master bedroom suite - located on the first floor, this room offers a private bathroom, a king size bed,  access to the left deck through a French door, 27" wall mounted TV with DVD player and ceiling fan.

Guest bedroom #1 - located on the second floor, this room offers access to a shared bathroom/w tub, a king size bed,  27" wall mounted TV and ceiling fan.

Guest bedroom #2 - located on the second floor, this room offers access to a shared bathroom/w tub, queen size bed,  13" TV and ceiling fan.
