Read below to get a small glimpse of what "Experience the Magic" really means.
We have several homes on the island, all privately owned by members of my family. BEWARE - Only the homes presented on www.marcomagic.com are under our strict quality guidelines and standards. Look out for cheap imitations!!!
Sometimes with all the alternatives available it is difficult to choose or to know that you are SAFE in the decision you make. What may look like "A better deal" on the surface, may make ALL the difference in the QUALITY of your vacation experience. We hear this all the time from guests that have been hurt in prior villa rental experiences with other owners.
As I obviously have a bias toward my homes, I will raise some questions and you can be the judge of how they apply:
 | What is the location of the home? Is it in a nice area? Any "Commercial" activity nearby? Our homes are all located in residential sections in what we consider to be "Highly Desirable" areas of Marco Island. We provide a map of where every home is. When in Doubt, contact the Chamber of Commerce and ask them. |
For those of you looking at other areas of Florida, be especially aware of the fact that Marco is truly unique, and as a result commands a higher rental rate then other areas of Florida.
| What type of Amenities are in the home? Spa/Hot Tubs, Heated Pools, Always on Internet, Wireless LAN, DVDs, child supplies, Kids Videos, etc. Its the "Little Extras" that really make or break the vacation experience. We put everything in our homes we can think of. And if you get there and find it missing, we will do our best to deliver it to you. Programs like "Child Friendly", which now several of our competitors are attempting to copy, set us apart. |
We have heard stories from our guests of other owners that advertise "Walk to the beach" or "4th bedroom", when in fact the homes were not anywhere near a beach. Or the 4th bedroom, was much smaller then a 10 X 10 room.
| Will the home be there when your stay date arrives? Many owners get into the rental business while they wait for their property to appreciate. Once they see the value increase they sell the home and leave you stranded. |
Some owners that "Make a Deal" with you, and later get a better offer from someone else, may leave you stranded and go with the higher paying party.
We have NEVER turned a guest that had a Paid reservation away...Period!!!
| Are the other owners members of the Chamber of Commerce? We are! This means you have someone to go to to verify who we are and how we operate. In fact, the Chamber of commerce directs people looking for Villas to us as one of their sources. Ask them! |
| Can the owners of other Villas provide "References" or make their homes available for inspection (if un-occupied)? We can and do. Real people that have stayed whom you can contact. Should you have a friend or family on the island, have them call us to see if we can arrange a tour. |
| How much do the home owners have to lose if you DO NOT enjoy your vacation experience? They may have one home, and not care very much if they retain you as a future guest. Some home owners make their living on "One hit wonders" and do not care if you ever come back. |
We have even heard stories of owners that make a second income on holding back peoples security. We have rented over 700 times since we started in 2000. Many of them to repeat guests. Folks, we are in this for the long term.
We offer a BEST IN CLASS Guest Retention program. Repeat and guests and friends receive "Discounts" and "Specials" through the year. If you don't stay with us, you don't get access to the private specials.
| How many homes do the other owners have? Why do you care...right? Well size really does matter. We use it at Leverage with our Cleaning and service companies to ensure the homes are maintained to the highest standards. See, if a vendor fails to take proper care of our homes, then the risk losing 3 (not 1). What would you do if you were in their place? |
Further, having four homes on the island, we can offer you SPLIT stays between homes if you need an extended period that is not available in your preferred property. Also, we can offer the "Upgrades" mentioned below.
