Sometimes with all the alternatives available it is difficult to choose or to even know if you are SAFE in the decision you make. What may look like A BETTER DEAL on the surface, may turn out to be a VACATION NIGHTMARE. We hear this all the time from individuals that have previously rented with other owners and were disappointed with the reality of what they found.

As I obviously have a bias toward my homes, I will raise some questions and you can be the judge of how they apply to any home you look at:

WILL YOU BE HAPPY WITH THE LOCATION? Is it in a nice area? Any Commercial activity nearby? Is the street a major artery? Any Construction going on at the house next door?

Our Homes are all located in residential sections in what we consider to be -Highly Desirable- areas of Marco Island. Further, we have wonderful, wide water views. Royalty is adjacent to a park and Seacrest is a 6 minute walk to the beach next to the Marriott.

We provide a map of where every home is, so you can verify that the location meets your needs. if you are looking at other areas of Florida, be especially aware of the fact that Marco is truly unique, and as a result commands a higher rental rate then other areas of Florida. Further, Marco is very far south and as a result you can expect some of the best weather in the state.

HOW DO YOU STAY CLEAR OF THE GARBAGE? Or should I say SEWAGE. Many people do not realize that MOST of Marco Islands homes are on Septic Systems. Marco is currently at the beginning of a multi year project to replace all Septic systems with sewers in any sections of the island without sewers already. This means that if you rent a home that is not on Sewers already, they may be tearing up the road at/around the home during your vacation. Our Homes are on SEWERS and have been for many, many years. There are no SEWER lines going in on our blocks as they are in many sections of the island.

WILL THERE BE ANYTHING TO DO? What type of Amenities are in the home? Spa/Hot Tubs, Heated Pools, Always on Internet, Wireless LAN, DVDs, X-Box, GameCube, child supplies, Kids Videos, etc. Its the -Little Extras- that really make or break the vacation experience.

Our homes have basically everything in them we can think of. And if you get there and find it missing, we will do our best to deliver it to you. If you really want FULLY LOADED take a look at Royalty. Also, we keep our pools nice and warm and never charge extra for heating the pool to your tastes (up to 87 degrees).

WILL YOUR HOME BE MISSING IN ACTION?  Many owners get into the rental business while they wait for their property to appreciate.
Once they see the value increase they sell the home and leave you stranded. This has only become worse as individuals whom were trying to CASH IN on Marco Island Property value increases have been caught in the devaluation crisis and can no longer afford to keep their property maintained...or in many cases KEEP THEIR PROPERTY AT ALL!!! Think how you would feel to find out two weeks before your vacation, that the home you booked would not be available due to a last minute sale or foreclosure. Think of the stress that would cause in your vacation plans. Well...its happening. Not just on Marco, but in vacation rental communities all over the world.

Further, it means that we can stop in before you do to ensure the cleanliness of the home. We use Professional companies with proven track records to keep our homes clean and maintained. We do not skimp on cleaning, cut critical services or forego needed repairs as many owners may have been doing.
