Renting or buying from a stranger can be a scary thing! This becomes even more true when you are renting something as personal as a vacation home. And in some cases a home that you have not even seen "Live". It is for this reason we wanted to tell you a little bit about ourselves and why we built on the island. It is our hope that after exploring our site and all that our homes have to offer, you will feel more comfortable with your decision.

Allow me to introduce myself and my family to you. I (Paul) am in my early 40's and work for a Fortune 100 Company in the Information Technology field. Until August of 2002, we lived in Rockaway, New Jersey, a small town in Morris County. In August 2002, we moved the entire family to Marco Island. Our family consists of Linda (my better half), my Daughter Nicole (13), My son Nicholas (11), and our four Shih Tzu's (Casper, Cali, Peaches and Pebbles).
My family and I came to Marco Island for the first time in December 1998 and immediately fell in love with its peacefulness and beauty. By the time we had left, we had made offers on several of the premier lots. By mid January 1999, we had purchased a wonderful waterfront lot and began looking at builders for our ultimate "Dream Home". Eventually we contracted with FCI, an established builder with a proven track record to build Serenity.

Demand for Serenity in 2000 proved so strong that we added two additional homes over the next year; Seacrest and Beach Haven. Beach Haven is owned by my sister, Paula and her husband, Bill. Paula and Bill purchased these properties as a romantic vacation destination to escape from the stress of daily living.
They live in Los Angeles, California, where Paula is a romance writer. Bill is a business manager. They wanted to rent out their Marco Island home so that everyone could enjoy magical moments with family and friends. Paula and Bill have empowered us to Beach Haven under the same stringent standards we apply to our homes.
We have made a commitment to offering the finest in Marco Island vacation experiences to our guests. To support this goal, we continue to strive to improve all aspects of our wonderful homes and the services which support them.
Marco
Island offers a quite, low stress environment for adults and children alike. It
is also close to many of Florida's attractions and hot spots. Having
"Local" family support allows us to better share our homes with people who love to enjoy the
relaxation of the Island's cool breezes, and beautiful sandy white beaches.
In early Spring of 2005, we discovered Lake Hartwell, SC during one of my business trips to Alpharetta. So many people had mentioned the beauty and splendor of the lake and all the wonderful amenities that the area had to offer, that I was compelled to see if it was on a caliber with my home, Marco. What I found stunned me. The lake was a "Fresh Water" Mecca. It was everything I would look for if I were to ever live outside of Marco.
In fact, I liked it so much, we decided to purchase our "Escape" home there. For years people have been asking me where I go for a vacation when I have homes in a paradise such as Marco. Finally, I have a place I can tell them. As with Marco, we decided it would be wonderful to share this discovery with other people by affording them a "Top Shelf" home to enjoy the lake and surrounding area from. We believe Harmony to be that and much more.
